The VCS Mental Health Clinic
The VCS Mental Health Clinic is an Article 31 mental health clinic licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health to provide outpatient mental health treatment (including individual therapy and psychiatric services) to children (age 10+) and adults (age 18+) with a diagnosable mental health condition.
How does this differ from the general counseling program at VCS?
The major ways in which the clinic differs from the general counseling program are that we accept insurance, offer access to a psychiatrist, and are staffed by licensed clinicians.
What insurances are accepted?
We currently accept Medicaid Fee-for-Service (otherwise known as "straight Medicaid"), Fidelis, Optum, Empire BCBS, Healthfirst and Beacon (MVP, Affinity etc.) Medicaid Managed Care insurances. Self-pay clients are also accepted. We are currently contracting with other Medicaid managed care insurance panels and will update this page as we are able to take other forms of insurance.
What are the clinic hours?
The clinic is open on the following days and times:
Evenings until 9pm available by appointment.
