VCS was established in 1970 to meet the needs of the Family Court System and the Probation Department governmental agencies that sought affordable, accessible and consistent counseling services for families in crisis.

  About Us

VCS is a community-based social service agency that offers counseling for people from adolescence to older adulthood, community change initiatives and conflict resolution services.

  Programs
Among VCS's many programs are those related to counseling, community change and conflict resolution. Depending upon need, programs are available to people from adolescence to older adulthood.

  Volunteers
Volunteers may serve in the following capacities: as counselors that help to strengthen the lives of individuals, couples and families; helping to support the agency's community change programs; and as mediators and/or arbitrators to further the work in conflict resolution.

  Events

VCS offers educational programs, workshops, seminars, training programs and institutes, community programs and fundraising events throughout the year.


  Directors
The VCS Board of Directors is a diverse group of people representing many aspects of the community.

  Contributions
As a not-for-profit agency, VCS relies on generous contributions from community members to help support the vital counseling and educational services that we provide.

  Employment
